Obviously, the physical universe, as we call it, has been either unified in fact, or not, and our established physical scientific theories and our conventional physical scientific ways of thinking about it, would seem to have had not the slightest, possible physical influence whatsoever, in real terms, with respect to this simple, fundamental question of whether or not the physical universe was, is, and will continue to be unified. For some strange reason, it has seemed to me that it is somehow not logical for the physical universe to be a very curious combination of four, separate, distinctly different, fundamental physical forces at work. Certainly, assuming that the physical universe is indeed unified, it will remain so long enough for physical scientists to "discover" some way of comprehending this fundamental physical unity and some rigorous way of accounting for it also, in established fundamental physical scientific terms, with respect to established fundamental physical principles, which must, in the case of unification, necessarily reduce to one, and only one, fundamental physical characteristic nature of fundamental physical science, as a whole, in the historical sense.

Upon reflection, it strikes me that I have used not the tools of physical science, per se, nor the principal tools of mathematics, directly, in order to do the job; rather, I have used the fundamental tools of logical analysis, pure and simple, directly, in order to reconcile and unify FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENCE, as a whole, in the historical sense, once and for all.

The task of deciphering the singular, underlying physical nature of the physical universe, in terms which embody a comprehensive, fundamental, unified physical scientific theory, would indeed seem to qualify as the preponderant intellectual challenge of the Twentieth Century.

I am pleased to report that by asking the right questions, and by using the simple tools of fundamental logical analysis, with respect to established theoretical characteristic terms and established empirical characteristic terms of fundamental physical science, as a whole, in the historical sense, it clearly appears that I have indeed succeeded, while others have apparently not.

Now, it remains to be seen how THE PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT will react to the profound, fundamental physical scientific result of my work, i.e. as the substance and the contents of my written physical scientific commentaries, have been forthrightly submitted to the highest levels of official consideration, at CALTECH, one of the leading physical scientific academic institutions in the world.

The remarkable thing about any fundamental logical analysis, is that, assuming it has been done correctly, the result, the logical conclusion which has been reached, remains irrefutable and undeniable, i.e. not subject to question and therefore not able to be rejected by critics and adversaries in general, period.

At this time, I am obliged to explain how and why, the brilliant physicists of the Twentieth Century, could have managed to overlook and could have managed to fail to recognize the critical physical scientific fact that ALL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC OBSERVATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS EMBODY ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIONS ONLY; WHILE SO-CALLED NON-ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIONS ARE SIMPLY NOT PHYSICALLY OBSERVABLE AND NOT PHYSICALLY MEASURABLE, IN PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC TERMS, OTHER THAN PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ELECTROMAGNETIC TERMS ONLY. THUS PHYSICAL SCIENCE IS STRICTLY A MATTER OF ELECTROMAGNETIC AFFAIRS.

The principal avenue of consideration which I wish to reveal and explore, begins with what I shall call "the fundamental flaw" of physics, i.e. the crucial flaw which centers around a general misconception of "GRAVITY", as it has been misconceived in terms of Isaac Newton's so-called operational, universal "LAW OF GRAVITY", and the long-term, tangled effects and implications which have ensued and evolved, consequently, following in the powerful wake of this primary physical scientific misconception, up to, and including the present time.

For one thing, clearly, it should be noted, as it has been documented, that Isaac Newton, himself, knew and proclaimed that his operational, universal "LAW OF GRAVITY", was strictly an abstract device of MATHEMATICAL NATURE ONLY, and that it made no tangible sense whatsoever in terms of PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC NATURE, as Newton very well understood it. Secondly, clearly, it should be noted, as it has been documented, that many years later, at the beginning of the Twentieth Century, Albert Einstein, likewise, knew and proclaimed that invisible "GRAVITY" is not what Newton's odd, mathematical equation describes it to be; namely, an external fundamental physical force that operates between material objects, over the distance separating the centers of the masses of the objects. And thus Einstein did spend a considerable amount of his hard-working time on the GENERAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY, in an attempt to discover and to incorporate the fundamental physical nature of "GRAVITY" into his universal theory of relativity, as a whole; a fact that all well established, contemporary physicists should know very well by now, I would think.

Albeit a definite fact of physical scientific history, that Newton and Einstein both knew that "GRAVITY" is not what Newton's mathematical equation seems to indicate it is; nonetheless, the PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT, and therefore also, naturally, the rest of the ordinary world at large, has chosen to neglect and to reject the superior knowledge of Newton and Einstein by disregarding this fundamental physical scientific matter of vital concern, even so, up to, and including the present time (1997)!

On the other hand, also during the first half of the Twentieth Century, so-called nuclear physicists and particle physicists, began to focus their brilliant mathematical aptitudes on what has emerged as the mysterious and unfathomable QUANTUM MECHANICAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC NATURE of things, which is completely an abstract mathematical, probabilistic, theoretical approach to defining the so-called "PHYSICAL NATURE" of the nanoscopic, internal, subatomic particle world, including the so-called STRONG and WEAK nuclear interactivities which are thought to occur within the nuclei of atoms, wherein which the external universal "LAW OF GRAVITY", whatever its fundamental physical nature may be, definitely plays no role whatsoever in terms of what strange QUANTUM MECHANICAL NUCLEAR behavior physicists imagine "may be taking place" therein, wherein no direct, accurate means of PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC OBSERVATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS can go.

Meanwhile, the one and only, remaining, tangible fundamental physical scientific interactivity, so-called ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIVITY, which was elegantly, comprehensively defined and em-bodied by James Clerk Maxwell's Equations, in brilliant, rigorous, theoretical fashion, back in the 1860's, just happens to play the only, critical, central physical scientific role in both macrophysical and microphysical worlds, externally and internally, pertaining to all fields of physical science, on all scales and on all levels, with respect to precisely how physicists are physically able to directly experience, observe, measure and equate all fundamental physical scientific interactions, without exception!

Nevertheless, physicists remain determined to believe that there are in fact FOUR, DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT, FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC INTERACTIONS taking place, which are independently at work, within the physical universe, as it is known to be! While the completely valid physical scientific fact of the matter is, indeed, that it, THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE, is not known to behave this way, yet it is thought to behave this way, and necessarily wrongly so thought to be so, as I have painstakingly pointed this fact out and presented this fact, in plain English, within the contexts of my brief, written PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC COMMENTARIES, the very substance and the contents of which, leading members of THE PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT, are now, supposedly, doing their level best to conscientiously evaluate and acknowledge, at the very highest levels of official consideration, within the INSTITUTION OF CALTECH, one of the leading physical scientific academic institutions in the world.

When I stop and think about it, and I have stopped and thought about it a lot, I think there are really only a couple of possible and "reasonable" explanations for this remarkably consistent, collective, incomprehensible behavior, on behalf of the leading members of THE PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY AS A WHOLE. One possible explanation would seem to be that all respective, leading members of the whole physical scientific establishment have somehow completely failed to "SEE THE LIGHT", so to speak, figuratively and literally, SCIENTIFICALLY! This remarkable possibility is certainly not a flattering one for the great society of physical scientific minds to acknowledge, by any stretch of the imagination, I think it is fair to say. The second possible explanation, and the only other one, so far as I can see, would seem to be that the brilliant physicists of the Twentieth Century, the great and powerful figures of THE MODERN PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC AGE, have secretly, intentionally, purposefully conspired to conduct and to behave themselves in such a way so as to appear to have overlooked and to appear to have failed to recognize this comprehensive, fundamental ELECTROMAGNETIC PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLE AT WORK, which is indeed technically equivalent to a comprehensive unified field principle at work, which fully accounts for the physical nature of FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENCE AS A WHOLE! This second, remarkable possibility is equally difficult and very unfavorable for the great society of physical scientific minds to acknowledge and to take responsibility for, likewise, I think it is fair to say.

Therefore, it remains very intriguing, at this time, as to just how THE PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT will choose to react to the rigorous, profound, fundamental physical scientific result of my work, as it has been forthrightly submitted to the highest levels of official consideration at CALTECH?

With respect to my simple, logical analysis of fundamental physical science, as a whole, in the historical sense, which reveals that FUNDAMENTAL ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIVITY ONLY, fully accounts for the fundamental physical nature and the fundamental physical behavior embodied by fundamental physical science, as a whole; two additional, logical analytical considerations are worthwhile noting also.

1. Any given single, fundamental physical scientific characteristic nature (A), does not suddenly, completely become a matter of fundamental physical scientific characteristic nature (B), i.e. that which is inherently a matter of fundamental physical scientific characteristic nature (A) only, cannot suddenly, completely become that which it is not. Thus if we observe and measure so-called internal, fundamental physical scientific NUCLEAR INTERACTIVITIES, to suddenly manifest, externally, completely in the form of fundamental physical scientific ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIVITIES ONLY, then we must conclude that so-called internal, fundamental physical scientific NUCLEAR INTERACTIVITIES are indeed, somehow, completely a matter of fundamental physical scientific ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIVITIES ONLY ALSO. That is, that fundamental physical scientific characteristic nature which comes outside of the atomic nucleus, in the second place, is necessarily that fundamental physical scientific characteristic nature which was inside the atomic nucleus in the first place, and vice versa.

2. If indeed one, and only one, fundamental physical scientific characteristic nature does exist in THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE, as it necessarily would in the case of FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC UNIFICATION, i.e. FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ONENESS, then any given empirical physical scientific demonstration of a given, single instance of a given, single FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC CHARACTERISTIC NATURE which is at work, will necessarily demonstrate, and necessarily determine, the underlying, single, FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC CHARACTERISTIC NATURE which is at work within THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE as a SINGLE, UNIFIED, WHOLE ONE.

For example, the result of the Michelson-Morley Experiment suffices very well to demonstrate a given, single instance of a single FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC CHARACTERISTIC NATURE which is at work, with respect to the above stated logical, analytical point of view. And the resulting universal case of fundamental physical scientific ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIVITY ONLY, shines brightly and speaks clearly for itself, at this time.

With respect to the validity and the significance of my simple, fundamental logical analysis, the result of which does reveal that FUNDAMENTAL ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERACTIVITY ONLY, fully accounts for the FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL NATURE and FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL BEHAVIOR embodied by fundamental physical science, as a whole; additional, established, logical considerations and established philosophical considerations are worthwhile noting also, at this time.

The difficulty that I have encountered, in my sincere attempt to communicate the result, and the ways and means, of my work, to leading members of established physical scientific institutions, may, perhaps, to some degree, become clarified when we consider the difference between my logical train of thought and "their" logical trains of thought. Leading members of established physical scientific institutions have apparently been trained to think logically and to argue inductively, from data to hypotheses, but never to test hypotheses against that knowledge which has been derived by deduction from the fundamentals of SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY. The latter way of thinking about FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENCE, as a whole, in the historical sense of context, is precisely the means by which I have conducted my valid and significant review and analysis of all established fundamental physical science, as it is set forth within the substance and the contents of my PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC COMMENTARIES.

Likewise, there exists a well established, fundamental philosophical foundation, known as LOGICAL POSITIVISM, which was founded and developed by a group of philosophers known as the "Vienna Circle", during the 1920's, the thrust of which provides a firm philosophical basis by which to evaluate the fundamental validity and significance of the result of my work. The central idea of this school of philosophy is based on the so-called "VERIFIABILITY PRINCIPLE", according to which the MEANING of any statement is equated with the means and the method for VARIFYING the statement. This very principle may be rigorously applied to the means and the method by which I have conducted my review and analysis of FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENCE, as a whole, in the historical sense, and arrived at my fundamental physical scientific conclusion, with respect to the substance and the contents and the result of my work.

It has often been said that : "The two pillars of physical science, i.e. QUANTUM THEORY and GENERAL RELATIVITY, are two distinctly different theories, that in essence, speak two different languages and there seems to be no way they can communicate with one another. There is no bridge, no link between them. But why should there be two such theories? Why not one theory that explains both the microcosm and the macrocosm?" Thus, Dr. Barry Parker expresses the crux of the central problem, in his relatively recent book, aptly entitled "EINSTEIN'S DREAM".

I firmly contend that the rigorous answer to the central problem can be found in the substance and the contents of my PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC COMMENTARIES, which reveal that the mysterious missing common language, the missing bridge, the missing link, is strictly a matter of fundamental physical scientific electromagnetic interactivity only, which fully accounts for all empirical observations and measurements, without exception, on microphysical scales and on macrophysical scales, respectively, pertaining to QUANTUM MECHANICAL INTERACTIVITIES and to ASTROPHYSICAL, GENERAL RELATIVITY RELATED INTERACTIVITIES, also, period.

It continues to remain very intriguing, at this time, as to just how THE PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT will choose to react to the rigorous, profound, FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC RESULT of my work, as it has been repeatedly, forthrightly submitted to the highest levels of official consideration within the CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY: first, within the Physics Department, on April 10, 1996, then the Office of the Provost, then the Office of the President, and finally within the General Counsel's Office, as of November 15, 1996; the entire, troubling case of which my records of written, official correspondence between myself and CALTECH, and CALTECH and myself, do indeed document fully, and thoroughly confirm, in no uncertain terms.

Thus, the fundamental thrust of the end-result of my physical scientific work, in the form of my physical scientific commentaries, is that the fundamental, PHYSICAL ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE, the electromagnetic interaction, can be rigorously said to physically exist and to physically function inside and outside "of our heads", i.e. however and whatever our standard physical scientific ways of thinking about it may be.

On the other hand, the theoretical gravitational force and the theoretical nuclear forces cannot be rigorously said to physically exist and to physically function outside "of our heads", i.e. outside of our standard metaphysical, non-scientific ways of thinking about "them" only.

"GRAVITY" and "THE STRONG AND WEAK NUCLEAR FORCES" can be said to have an intellectual form of existence and an intellectual means of function, completely within our established, standard, non-scientific ways of thinking about "them" only. "They" have no physically observable physical scientific form of existence, and no physically measurable physical scientific means of function. "They" do not physically exist!

In other words, it is simply our established, standard, conventional, different non-scientific ways and means of thinking about the fundamental physical scientific nature of THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE, which are not unified.

While, on the other hand, the fundamental physical scientific nature of THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE, "itself", is indeed completely unified, ELECTROMAGNETICALLY UNIFIED!

And there is not one single trace of established, recorded EMPIRICAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE, whatsoever, with and by which to refute THE WHOLE FACT OF THE MATTER. "Capito!"
