PART ONEFUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL

PROLOGUE
Should I be able to demonstrate rigorously and comprehensively,
in the strict scientific sense of the words, in accordance with
established theoretical terms and with established empirical terms,
that one, and only one, of the so-called four fundamental physical
scientific forces, i.e. physical interactions of physical science,
does indeed fully account for each and every empirical observation
and measurement conducted and recorded in the historical context
of physical science, from Galileo to the present time, without
exception; then, in effect, I will have demonstrated comprehensively,
the fundamental unification of physical science, as a whole, and
I will have demonstrated that which is technically equivalent
to a comprehensive unified field principle, will I have not?

THE CHALLENGEAs Arthur Beiser states in his comprehensive, introductory text book, "PHYSICS", "Modern science began with Galileo, 1564-1642. Before Galileo, explanations of the natural world were sought in terms of self-evident principles,...experiments were unnecessary. Galileo's greatest contribution, overshadowing his specific discoveries in mechanics and astronomy, was the notion that all statements about nature must be tested by observation."(1) As remarkable as the case may seem, it may not yet have occurred to physicists in general, that all, established, empirical, fundamental physical scientific experiments to date, have directly provided various quantities of electromagnetic evidence only. In all cases, observations and measurements have revealed electro-magnetic signals and gauged electromagnetic interactions only. The fundamental process of external, astrophysical, astronomical observations and measurements, is completely a matter of fundamental electromagnetic interactivities only. The fundamental processes of all observations and measurements of so-called gravitational interactivities, are strictly a matter of fundamental electromagnetic interactivities only.(2) The fundamental processes underlying all mechanical activities and mechanical devices and operations, including all mechanical instruments which measure fundamental physical scientific quantities and magnitudes, are wholly a matter of fundamental electromagnetic mechanical processes only.(3) And the fundamental processes of all observations and measurements of so-called internal nuclear interactivities, are also precisely a matter of fundamental electromagnetic processes for recording fundamental electromagnetic observations and making fundamental electromagnetic measurements of fundamental electromagnetic interactions only, period.(4) In the general case of observations and measurements of activities in distant space, i.e. the relative positions and motions of the sun and the moon and the planets and the stars, whether directly employing the naked eye only, or using optical telescopic instruments, radio telescopic instruments, infrared or microwave telescopic instruments, and/or still photography, moving picture photography, video recording magnetic tape technology and computer imaging technology, all such distant observations and measurements are completely determined by fundamental electromagnetic interactivities only. In the general case of observations and measurements of so-called gravitational interactions, all such observations and measurements of so-called actions at a distance, whether in outer space or in laboratories right here on earth, are completely determined by fundamental electromagnetic signals and electromagnetic interactions only. Newton's historic observation of a falling apple, and Galileo's observations and measurements of falling bodies in general, are simple good examples which conclusively corroborate the case for various secondary interpretations of fundamental electromagnetic physical evidence only. As for Newton's laws of motion and Newtonian mechanics in general, i.e. F=ma (Force equals mass times acceleration), is an equation which Newton derived based upon observations and measurements of fundamental electromagnetic signals and electromagnetic forces only. All pushes and pulls, due to direct contact and/or impact of interacting material objects, are fundamentally due to electrical forces of repulsion and attraction between the atoms of the materials which comprise the respective objects. The mass of a material object, as measured by a beam balance, for example, is in fact determined only by the electrical forces of repulsion between the surface of the object being measured and the surface of the platform of the beam balance on which the object does rest. Whenever physicists weigh an object by means of a mechanical spring scale, it is the fundamental electromagnetic force of tension within the spring, due to electrical bonds between the atoms comprising the spring which directly determines the magnitude of the force measured as the weight of the object, which physicists secondarily interpret to be due to the so-called force of gravitation, which is thought to operate between the particular object and the center of the earth as a whole. In 1905, Albert Einstein revealed that the mass of any material object is equal to a corresponding quantity of energy, as measured in fundamental units of electron-volts, i.e. fundamental units of electromagnetic energy.(5) All machines, all mechanical devices which function by means of interacting material parts, operate and function according to cumulative and combined fundamental electrical forces within and between the respective material parts of the machines. Wheels and gears and cables and pulleys and levers and drive-shafts and clutches and pistons and hydraulic systems, as in the cases of internal combustion engines and automobiles and trucks in motion, are all gross mechanical physical activities and functions of fundamental, underlying atomic electromagnetic mechanical interactivities only. All mechanical clocks are primarily, fundamentally, electrical clocks, which operate and function according to electrical forces and electromagnetic signals only, as in the cases of sundials, grandfather clocks, original Timex wrist watches, as well as familiar cases of contemporary types of plug-in and battery operated electrical clocks. As the late Richard Feynman declared in his relatively recent book, "QED", all chemical interactions, both inorganic and organic, are the fundamental work of electrodynamic forces only.(6) Pertaining to all established observations and measurements of so-called nuclear interactions, physicists are limited to fundamental electromagnetic observations and fundamental electromagnetic measurements only, as for example in the technical cases of cloud chamber and bubble chamber photographic, physical evidence which is used to quantify and define the physical nature of subatomic particles and subatomic particle interactions.(7) At this extravagant stage of advanced theoretical physics, it may come as a surprise to many physicists that it is still possible, and certainly not unreasonable, to theoretically consider universal physical nature as a whole, in fundamental electromagnetic physical scientific terms only. The established views of the Standard Model Theory of Quantum Mechanics and Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, attribute a partial, limited capacity to fundamental electromagnetic interactivity, as a potential, necessary means by which to fully account for all established, fundamental physical scientific phenomena, respectively, the so-called strong and weak, internal, nuclear interactivities, and so-called external, astrophysical, gravitational interactivity. What demonstrable empirical physical evidence do physicists have to believe that it is not possible and reasonable for universal electromagnetic interactivity to fully account for what we observe and measure to be the mysterious phenomenon of so-called gravitational interactivity? And what demonstrable empirical physical evidence do physicists have to believe that it is not possible and reasonable for universal electromagnetic interactivity to fully account for what we theoretically consider to be the mysterious phenomena of so-called internal nuclear interactivities? We must take into account the physical scientific fact that of the so-called, four basic, fundamental forces which physicists think they have determined are at work within the physical universe, i.e. the gravitational force, the electromagnetic force, the strong force and the weak force, only one of these so-called four fundamental physical scientific forces can be directly observed and measured: THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE. Perhaps four basic, different magnitudes of physical scientific interaction correspond to four, basic, different physical scientific characteristic properties of one, single, vast cosmic electromagnetic physical scientific nature? The central question then, would seem to be, are we not completely electromagnetic humans, electromagnetically alive, living on an electromagnetic planet, using electromagnetic instruments, observing and measuring THE ELECTROMAGNETIC UNIVERSE? Based upon all available, established, empirical fundamental physical scientific evidence to date, we are compelled rigorously to conclude and answer yes!
I, Richard Savage, do hereby formally challenge all members of
leading, established institutions and journals of fundamental
physical science to deny and refute my formal fundamental physical
scientific conclusion, with sufficient tangible physical scientific
evidence to the contrary. By the way, incidentally, any example
of tangible physical scientific evidence whatsoever, which does
not come directly, and only, in the physical form of fundamental
electromagnetic signals, will suffice.

A SIMPLE OBSERVATIONPerhaps physicists can begin to unravel the elaborate tangles and resolve the seemingly deep-rooted enigmas which are defying advanced theories of fundamental physical science at this late stage of the Twentieth Century, by acknowledging the following comprehensive, empirical fact. There does indeed exist a fundamental physical scientific unified field, which is inherently and directly substantiating all varieties of verifiable physical scientific evidence, and all manifestations of physical scientific nature in general, from evidence of subatomic particles in motion, to evidence of super-clusters of galaxies in motion, with respect to physical scientific characteristics and physical scientific effects which physicists can experience and observe and measure and equate, i.e. so-called quantities of "space" and "time" and "mass" and "energy". This well founded fundamental physical scientific unified field is indeed the ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD, albeit having been elegantly defined in the 1860's, by Maxwell's Equations, and universally correlated in 1905, by Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. That a standard electromagnetic field theory is very well established, is certainly not headline news, however, what physicists seem to have overlooked and have apparently failed to recognize, is the critical fact that electromagnetic interactivity, i.e. the electromagnetic force at work, is the one and only fundamental physical scientific force at work, which physicists can directly observe and measure in all possible cases of empirical, experimental physical science. This critical fact pertains to all cases, which includes all cases which claim to be observations and measurements of so-called gravitational interactivities, and all cases which claim to be observations and measurements of so-called nuclear interactivities. Thus electromagnetic field theory combined with QED theory, does indeed fully account for all established cases of fundamental physical scientific nature and all established cases of fundamental physical scientific behavior, without exception! The pre-stated, foregone, fundamental physical scientific conclusion may be clearly deciphered by closely examining the basic physical scientific characteristic natures of established physical scientific theories which pertain to the fundamental physical scientific forces (interactions) of physical science, and by closely examining the basic physical scientific characteristic nature of established, empirical physical scientific observations and measurements, in all cases. Pertaining to a close examination of established fundamental physical scientific theories, an exclusionary rule may be rigorously applied in terms of basic physical scientific characteristic natures of three so-called fundamental forces which have been embodied by physical scientific theories during the past century. The theoretical fundamental natures of the internal nuclear forces, so-called the strong and the weak forces, are completely invisible, unobservable and unmeasurable. The theoretical nuclear interactions do not theoretically extend beyond the sub-micro dimensions of the nucleus of the atom, and as such are completely beyond the reach of any direct means to physically observe and measure them in physical scientific terms other than fundamental electromagnetic physical scientific terms only. Likewise, the theoretical fundamental physical scientific nature of so-called gravity is effectively, completely invisible, unobservable and unmeasurable, and can, likewise, only be derived in a secondary fashion by observations and measurements of electromagnetic interactions, which enable physicists to determine the paths and the rates of motion of objects in terms of space and time, the physical scientific characteristics of which physicists presume to be due to the effects of so-called gravity, the force of which physicists presume to be somehow operating between the objects, over the distance separating the masses of the objects.
Immediate implications which spring from this very simple observation
are nothing less than profound for physical science as we have
known it. Physical science is now strictly a matter of electromagnetic
affairs. While metaphysical non-science is all about so-called
non-electromagnetic affairs, which are thought to take place in
order to explain the electromagnetic interactions which physicists
observe and measure in all cases, without exception!

THE ELECTROMAGNETIC PHYSICAL UNIVERSEA profound implication immediately springs from my very simple observation: all physical scientific observations and measurements embody electromagnetic interactions only; while so-called non-electromagnetic interactions are simply not physically observable and not physically measurable, in fundamental physical scientific terms other than fundamental physical scientific electromagnetic terms only. Thus physical science is strictly a matter of electromagnetic affairs.
The physical scientific universe manifests its existence and presents
its existence in fundamental terms of electromagnetic physical
scientific evidence only. All physical scientific evidence of
so-called gravitational interactivities, is only physical scientific
evidence of electromagnetic evidence, which physicists secondarily
interpret as evidence of so-called gravitational interactivities.
And all physical scientific evidence of so-called nuclear interactivities,
is only physical scientific evidence of electromagnetic evidence,
which physicists secondarily interpret as evidence of so-called
nuclear interactivities. Thus all manifestations of physical scientific
evidence unanimously demonstrate the fundamental unification of
physical science, as a whole, and completely substantiate that
which is technically equivalent to a comprehensive UNIFIED FIELD
PRINCIPLE that fully accounts for PHYSICAL SCIENCE AS A WHOLE.

ELECTROMAGNETIC MATHEMATICSThe fundamental nature of electromagnetics corresponds to the fundamental nature of mathematics, would seem to be a proposition worthy of rigorous investigation. With respect to the simple observation that all physical scientific observations and measurements embody electromagnetic interactivities only, it is reasonable to propose that it is inherently the nature of the universal spectrum of electromagnetic interactivities, which directly entails fundamental mathematical characteristics and fundamental mathematical properties and principles which comprise the basis of mathematical theories and embodies numerical relationships which rigorously de-fine empirical physical scientific phenomena, in terms of physical scientific quantities that constitute the fundamental equations of physical science, for example, E=mc2, i.e. E=mc(squared). The basic fundamental physical scientific quantities are length of time, length of space, magnitude of mass, magnitude of energy and magnitude of electric charge. All of these basic quantities are observed, measured, determined and equated by means of and in terms of fundamental physical electromagnetic interactivities only. In light of this investigation, this comparison of the fundamental natures of electromagnetics and mathematics, it is worthwhile to note that human brains and super computers mutually function by means of cumulative and combined electromagnetic processes only. Also, it should be noted that the geometry of the physical universe, in the cases of microphysical and macrophysical structures, is strictly a matter of the geometry of electromagnetic interactivity only; as Einstein's theories of relativity, both special and general, pertain to physical scientific interpretations of the physical universe which are determined by the characteristic nature of electromagnetic interactivities only. His general theory, which attempts to incorporate the effects of so-called gravitational interactivities, does so by means of effects which are observed and measured electromagnetic effects only! All living physical organisms are electromagnetic organisms. All molecular structures and all atomic structures are electromagnetic structures only. All material structures, all physical structures, are cumulative and combined, electromagnetic structures only!
Moreover, it is important to recognize that both fields of electromagnetics
and mathematics embody essential positive and negative characteristics
which are attributed to numbers and electrical charges, likewise,
and both fields also embody the essential characteristic natures
of extension and dimension and direction. Both fields embody critical
90 degree perpendicular characteristics, and critical, equal and
opposite, 180 degree characteristics, which encompass the fundamental
natures of north and south magnetic field polarity, as well as
the fundamental mathematical geometry of electromagnetic field
theory in general, and the fundamental mathematical geometry of
spacetime field coordinate systems which are used to model and
to quantify the physical nature of motion, in all cases, pertaining
to all physical scientific interactivities, without exception.

RICHARD FEYNMAN'S STATEMENT (1964)
"The next great era of awakening of human intellect may well
produce a method of understanding the qualitative content of equations.
Today we cannot. Today we cannot see that the water flow equations
contain such things as the barber pole structure of turbulence
that one sees between rotating cylinders. Today we cannot see
whether Schrodinger's equation contains frogs, musical composers,
or morality,...or whether it does not. We cannot say whether something
beyond it like God is needed, or not. And so we can all hold strong
opinions either way."

SOME IMPORTANT ELECTROMAGNETIC IMPLICATIONSA number of important implications immediately spring from the simple observation that all physical scientific observations and measurements embody electromagnetic interactivities only; while so-called non-electromagnetic interactivities are simply not physically observable and not physically measurable in fundamental physical scientific terms other than fundamental physical scientific electromagnetic terms only. Physical science is strictly a matter of electromagnetic affairs. The preceding, comprehensive, empirical fact, necessarily implies that so-called "space" and "time" and "mass" and "energy" are measurably different physical characteristics of electromagnetic interactivities only. It follows that all fundamental physical scientific interactivities take place at the universal constant speed of light. No wonder Einstein discovered that the universal constant speed of light plays a critical, fundamental role with respect to all physical scientific interactivities. Einstein, however, was apparently not aware that his critical Principle of Equivalence can be rigorously demonstrated to be strictly a matter of electromagnetic interactivities only, with no physical measure, whatsoever, of so-called gravitational interactivities being involved. Likewise, nuclear physicists remain apparently not aware that the so-called strong and weak nuclear forces can be rigorously demonstrated in terms of electromagnetic interactivities only, with no physical measure, whatsoever, of the strong force and the weak force, being possible! Moreover, it follows, with respect to this comprehensive, fundamental, electromagnetic unified field principle at work, that all forms of physical scientific interactivities, all forms of chemical physical interactivities, all forms of biological physical interactivities and all forms of technological physical interactivities, are indeed, only, cumulative and combined forms of fundamental electromagnetic physical scientific interactivities only. Likewise, it necessarily follows that all so-called fundamental physical particles, are inherently, various kinds of electromagnetic particles, which possess characteristic quantities of electrical charge, whether net positive, net negative, or net neutral, and possess corresponding magnetic properties, to some degree, relative to particular motions of the respective particles, as in the cases of electrons and protons and neutrons and photons, which interactively comprise all established, relatively stable forms of atomic material substances.
The spacetime-geometry of the physical universe, as a whole, is
respectively a fundamental matter of electromagnetic interactivities
only. And the fundamental mathematical nature of the physical
universe, in general, necessarily corresponds to the fundamental
electromagnetic nature of the physical universe, as a whole.

UNIFICATION
All forms of fundamental physical scientific interactivities,
all forms of chemical physical interactivities, all forms of biological
physical interactivities, and all forms of technological physical
interactivities are only cumulative and combined forms of electromagnetic
interactivities, which fully account for all forms of physical
interactivities, without exception. The preceding, foregone conclusion
is completely valid in accordance with established theoretical
characteristic terms and with established empirical characteristic
terms, pertaining to all fields of physical science, without exception.
Thus, the physical universe is indeed a matter of one, and only
one, fundamental unified field principle at work, on all scales
and on all levels, in accordance with all established physical
scientific observations and measurements, without exception. Thus
the long search for a comprehensive, single, fundamental physical
scientific principle, has reached a final, certain, irrefutable
conclusion, and the physical scientific world and the ordinary
world at large, would seem to have no legitimate choice other
than to acknowledge this remarkable fact, and take solace in compliance
with it, at this time and for a very long time to come.

The answer is yes, and I am able, and I have. Face the fundamental
physical scientific facts of the matter. With respect to the substance
and the contents of my physical scientific commentaries, as a
whole, I contend that all statements which I have made, pertaining
to physical scientific matters, can be rigorously demonstrated
to be true statements of fundamental physical scientific facts.
I contend that no such statements which I have made can be rigorously
demonstrated to be false statements about fundamental physical
scientific facts. And I claim that all specific questions which
I have posed, I have purposefully posed, so as to evoke and produce
specific, meaningful answers which directly shed light on the
validity and the significance of this rigorous and conclusive
case of FUNDAMENTAL PHYSICAL SCIENTIFIC UNIFICATION. |

Theoretical, so-called gravitational interactions, and theoretical, so-called strong and weak nuclear interactions, as they are thought to be embodied by The General Theory of Relativity and The Standard Model Theory of Quantum Mechanics, respectively; completely, directly reduce to empirical electromagnetic interactivities only, all of which are fully embodied by established Electromagnetic Field Theory combined with QED Theory, without exception.
Thus the long search for a comprehensive, single, fundamental
physical scientific principle, has reached a final, certain, irrefutable
conclusion. The physical scientific world has no trace, whatsoever,
of tangible, physical scientific evidence to the contrary and
no valid physical scientific reason not to accept this simple,
rigorous physical scientific conclusion, and take solace in compliance
with it, at this time and for a very long time to come. |
