V2-Schneider has been influenced by the modern avant garde and such futuristic experimental bands as Neu!, La Düsseldorf, and the likes of Hypnotics, The Stooges, and David Bowie. In the German music scene they are celebrated outsiders, cult.

Their album Was kommt! appeared in 2004 on the Aggressive Noise label; the band appeared live at a number of "Kruzefix" concerts and at spectacular undergound art performances.
