Please find newspaper cuttings of the uranium mill tailing pipe burst in Jadugoa... Interestingly, the English newspapers were almost silent ... There was a meeting in Dungridih, the small village next to the pipe burst. It is a village inhabilited by the displaced people of the Tailing Dams 1 and 2.

During the 80's a big burst happened at Tailings Dam 1... We don't have any information of it... how much of the tailings flushed into Gara river? It is very important to know the contamination in water sources... Can anyone advise us in this regard?

We are getting news from state of Bengal in India that in Haripur in Midnapur District, the government is planning another nuclear power plant (one in Sundervan), so it is also important to know more details of the US-Indo nuclear relationship. Here there is the opinion that the US has older technology in comparison to the French and other Europe countries, so the US wants to sell it to the Third World... Can anyone tell us more in these matters..?
