MÜNCHEN,16MAY'10—In 1988 I began the first English broadside for the World Uranium Hearing with the words: "What most people don't realize is that the radioactive curse is unleashed the moment the uranium is mined from the earth." From one re-wording to the next, that message has occupied the center of my work in association with first the WUH and now the Award from those early days when Claus rented a small office space at Trickster Verlag, to the many years the NFFA occupied my living room, to early last week when I uploaded our website relaunch from our souterrain offices here in the Moll Block.

I like to think that we are helping to change public awareness.
